Matcha Cappuccino Health Boost for Your Morning Routine
Ingredients
- 2 tsp culinary grade matcha powder
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 0.25 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Prise sea salt
- 1 Prise cocoa powder or matcha powder (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, sift the matcha powder using a fine sieve to remove any lumps. Add hot water and whisk until it becomes a bright green, frothy liquid.
- Stir in honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt into the matcha mixture until fully dissolved.
- Heat the milk over medium heat until steaming. Use a frother or whisk to create a thick froth.
- Pour the matcha mixture into a large mug, then slowly pour the frothed milk on top, holding back the foam with a spoon.
- Dust the top of your matcha cappuccino with cocoa powder or an extra sprinkle of matcha.
