Ingredients

  • 1 whole ripe mango, peeled and cubed
  • 1 whole large dragon fruit, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups water
  • 0.75 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup honey or agave syrup
  • 1 cup sparkling water (optional, for fizz)
  • 1 Prise fresh mint leaves, for garnish
  • 1 Prise ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the chopped mango and diced dragon fruit. Blend until smooth. If desired, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp for a smoother texture.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the water and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir in the honey or agave syrup until fully dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  3. Add the mango-dragon fruit puree to the pitcher and mix well to ensure all ingredients are well integrated.
  4. Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and to chill thoroughly.
  5. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the mango dragon fruit lemonade over the ice, leaving some space at the top.
  6. For a refreshing twist, top off each glass with sparkling water for a bubbly finish.
  7. Finish with a sprig of fresh mint leaves on top of each glass for an aromatic touch.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve in clear glasses to showcase the vibrant colors of the lemonade.
