Mango Dragon Fruit Lemonade Refreshing Summer Delight
Ingredients
- 1 whole ripe mango, peeled and cubed
- 1 whole large dragon fruit, peeled and diced
- 2 cups water
- 0.75 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 0.5 cup honey or agave syrup
- 1 cup sparkling water (optional, for fizz)
- 1 Prise fresh mint leaves, for garnish
- 1 Prise ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the chopped mango and diced dragon fruit. Blend until smooth. If desired, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp for a smoother texture.
- In a large pitcher, combine the water and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir in the honey or agave syrup until fully dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Add the mango-dragon fruit puree to the pitcher and mix well to ensure all ingredients are well integrated.
- Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and to chill thoroughly.
- When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the mango dragon fruit lemonade over the ice, leaving some space at the top.
- For a refreshing twist, top off each glass with sparkling water for a bubbly finish.
- Finish with a sprig of fresh mint leaves on top of each glass for an aromatic touch.
