- 0.5 lb ground pork
- 0.25 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 pieces green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 0.25 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 piece egg, lightly beaten
- 1 Prise salt to taste
- 1 Prise pepper to taste
- 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for added heat)
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Sriracha (adjust for spice preference)
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp honey
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
- Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, beaten egg, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the meat mixture. Mix until just combined; do not overmix to keep meatballs tender.
- Using your hands, shape the mixture into 1 to 1.5-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and slightly browned.
- While the meatballs are baking, in a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Sriracha, lime juice, sesame oil, and honey. Stir until smooth and well combined. Adjust Sriracha to taste for desired spiciness.
- Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve them on a platter with the spicy mayo dip on the side.
