Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 4 cups coleslaw mix
  • 2 pieces green onions, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 Prise sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, over medium heat, add the ground pork. Cook, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes).
  3. Add the coleslaw mix to the skillet and toss until the cabbage wilts slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well, allowing the flavors to meld together for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the green onions. Serve hot and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.

💡 Chef's Notes

Use gluten-free soy sauce or tamari for a gluten-free option.
