Indulge in the Four Meat, Four Cheese Bagel Breakfast Sandwich
Ingredients
- 4 pieces everything bagels, sliced and toasted
- 4 slices bacon
- 4 pieces breakfast sausages, cooked and sliced
- 4 slices smoked ham
- 4 ounces chorizo, cooked and crumbled
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 slices pepper jack cheese
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese
- 4 slices cream cheese, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 Prise salt
- 1 Prise pepper
- 1 Prise fresh chives or scallions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter, for frying
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, then set aside on paper towels to drain. In the same skillet, quickly fry the sliced breakfast sausages until browned. Warm the sliced smoked ham and chorizo in the pan until heated through.
- In a clean skillet, melt a little butter over medium heat. Crack in the eggs, season with salt and pepper, and fry to your preference (sunny-side-up or over-easy).
- Spread a layer of cream cheese on the bottom half of each toasted bagel.
- Layer with bacon, sausage, smoked ham, and chorizo.
- Place a slice of cheddar, pepper jack, and mozzarella cheese on top of the meats.
- Top each with a fried egg and sprinkle with fresh chives or scallions.
- Cover with the top half of the bagel.
- For an extra cheesy treat, place the assembled sandwich on a skillet and cover with a lid. Cook on low heat for a couple of minutes to melt the cheese, then flip carefully to toast the other side if desired.
- Remove from heat, slice in half if desired, and serve warm with your favorite hot sauce or ketchup.
