Iced Brown Sugar Matcha Latte Recipe Easy and Tasty
Ingredients
- 2 tsp matcha green tea powder
- 2 tbsp hot water (not boiling)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 0.5 cup ice cubes
- 1 Prise whipped cream (optional)
- 1 Prise sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder and hot water together until it forms a smooth paste. Ensure there are no lumps.
- In a separate glass, combine the brown sugar with the milk. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.
- Fill a glass or tall cup with ice cubes.
- Pour the sweetened milk over the ice.
- Gently pour the matcha mixture on top of the milk. If you like, create a swirl by stirring lightly (but not too much, so the layers remain somewhat distinct).
- If desired, top with whipped cream and a light sprinkle of sea salt for added flavor.
- Serve with a straw, and enjoy the refreshing blend of flavors!
