Ingredients

  • 2 pieces ripe avocados
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 Prise salt to taste
  • 1 Prise fresh cilantro, chopped (optional for garnish)
  • 1 small jalapeño, finely diced (optional for extra heat)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Using a fork or potato masher, mash the avocados to your desired level of creaminess (smooth or chunky).
  3. Add the finely chopped onion, diced tomato, minced garlic, and if using, the diced jalapeño to the mashed avocado.
  4. Pour in the adobo sauce and lime juice. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.
  5. Season the guacamole with salt to taste, mixing well until evenly seasoned.
  6. If desired, fold in freshly chopped cilantro for added flavor.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning or lime juice as needed.
