Homemade Adobo Guacamole Tasty and Simple Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pieces ripe avocados
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon adobo sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 Prise salt to taste
- 1 Prise fresh cilantro, chopped (optional for garnish)
- 1 small jalapeño, finely diced (optional for extra heat)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
- Using a fork or potato masher, mash the avocados to your desired level of creaminess (smooth or chunky).
- Add the finely chopped onion, diced tomato, minced garlic, and if using, the diced jalapeño to the mashed avocado.
- Pour in the adobo sauce and lime juice. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.
- Season the guacamole with salt to taste, mixing well until evenly seasoned.
- If desired, fold in freshly chopped cilantro for added flavor.
- Taste and adjust seasoning or lime juice as needed.
