Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes Easy Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 4 medium Yukon gold potatoes, diced into small cubes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 1 Prise fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 Prise olive oil (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss the diced potatoes in a bowl with olive oil, salt, smoked paprika, and pepper. Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake the potatoes in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, turning once halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Season the steak cubes with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Once the butter is bubbling, add the steak bites.
- Cook the steak bites for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same hot skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant and the garlic starts to turn golden.
- Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter, ensuring the bites are well coated.
- Once the potatoes are crispy and golden, remove them from the oven. Plate the garlic butter steak bites alongside the crispy potatoes.
💡 Chef's Notes
Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the steak bites for a pop of color.
