Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon adobo sauce from the chipotle can
  • 0.33 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Prise salt (optional)
  • 1 Prise pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the honey, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar. Whisk the ingredients together until they are well blended.
  2. Add the minced chipotle pepper and adobo sauce into the mixture, stirring to incorporate the smoky flavor.
  3. Slowly drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil while whisking continuously to create an emulsion. This will ensure the vinaigrette is creamy and well mixed.
  4. Once all ingredients are combined, taste the vinaigrette and season with salt and pepper as desired.
  5. If the vinaigrette is too thick, you can thin it out by adding a tablespoon of water, whisking until you reach your desired consistency.
  6. Transfer the vinaigrette to a jar with a tight-fitting lid or a squeeze bottle for easy storage and use.
