Easy Cheesy Chicken-Filled Comforting Dinner Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 0.5 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 Prise salt (to taste)
- 1 Prise pepper (to taste)
- 8 ounces crescent roll dough
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the cheesy chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Carefully roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the mixture as you go, creating a filled crescent shape.
- Place the filled crescents on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush each roll with the beaten egg for a beautiful golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and puffed up.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
