Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 cup crushed buttery crackers (like Ritz)
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pinch fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork sausage and cream cheese. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  3. Add shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, crushed crackers, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Stir until everything is evenly mixed.
  4. Using your hands, form the mixture into small bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until the sausage is fully cooked and the bites are golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. If desired, sprinkle fresh parsley on top for garnish.
  7. Serve warm with toothpicks as an appetizer or party snack!
