Cracked Out Chicken Tater Tot Casserole Delight
Ingredients
- 450 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- 240 ml ranch dressing
- 100 g shredded cheddar cheese
- 150 g cooked bacon, chopped
- 450 g frozen tater tots
- 240 ml cream of chicken soup
- 120 ml milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 Prise salt (optional)
- 1 Prise pepper (optional)
- 15 g chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, ranch dressing, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. On top of this mixture, arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer, covering the entire surface.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- After baking, remove the casserole from the oven. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top and return it to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, just until the cheese melts.
- Once the cheese has melted, remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top for a pop of color and flavor before serving.
