Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 Prise Salt (to taste)
  • 1 Prise Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add the softened butter and use a fork or spatula to cream it until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic, chopped parsley, and chives until well combined.
  3. Add Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper to the bowl. Mix everything until the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the spices according to your preference.
  5. Once well mixed, transfer the Cowboy Butter to the center of a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap. Shape it into a log by rolling it up tightly, twisting the ends to secure.
  6. Refrigerate the rolled butter for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
  7. Slice the Cowboy Butter into rounds and serve alongside your favorite grilled steaks or as a dipping sauce for other meats.

💡 Chef's Notes
