Ingredients

  • 225 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 1 Prise pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 6 slices rustic bread (like ciabatta or baguette)
  • 1 Prise Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are browned and tender.
  3. Add the minced garlic and dried thyme to the skillet, stirring constantly for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.
  4. Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet. Toast them in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes until they're slightly crisp.
  5. Take the toasted bread out of the oven and pile the mushroom garlic mixture evenly onto each slice.
  6. Sprinkle both the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese generously over the top of each slice.
  7. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve hot.
