Cheesy Mushroom Garlic Toasts Irresistible Delight
Ingredients
- 225 g mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 Prise Salt
- 1 Prise pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 6 slices rustic bread (like ciabatta or baguette)
- 1 Prise Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are browned and tender.
- Add the minced garlic and dried thyme to the skillet, stirring constantly for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.
- Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet. Toast them in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes until they're slightly crisp.
- Take the toasted bread out of the oven and pile the mushroom garlic mixture evenly onto each slice.
- Sprinkle both the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese generously over the top of each slice.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve hot.
