Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt to create a sweet spice blend.
  3. Take each chicken tender and rub a small amount of olive oil on both sides. Then, generously coat each tender with the brown sugar spice mixture.
  4. Take a slice of bacon and wrap it around each chicken tender, ensuring it's completely covered. Place each bacon-wrapped tender seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Once all tenders are wrapped, sprinkle any remaining brown sugar mixture over the top for extra sweetness.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C) and the bacon is crispy.
  7. After baking, let them rest for 5 minutes before transferring them to a serving platter.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious Bacon Brown Sugar Chicken Tenders!

💡 Chef's Notes
