Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers: A Delightful Culinary Adventure
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss until they are well coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for enhanced flavor).
- If using wooden skewers, ensure they have been soaked in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a small space between each piece for even cooking.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the chicken skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to cook them in batches depending on your air fryer size). Cook at 400°F (200°C) for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time. The chicken should be cooked through and golden brown.
- In the last two minutes of cooking, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the skewers and let it melt onto the chicken.
- Once cooked, remove the skewers from the air fryer and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce!
💡 Chef's Notes
